Needling
Assembling technique of unwoven textile fibres, interlacing them by means of a mechanical process. -
Plant defibering
Process that consists in transforming solid plant particles into fibres. -
Seaming
Highly-precise stage performed by high-precision machines. -
Lapping
Forming of fibre laps by means of a mechanical or aero-mechanical process. -
Thermobonding
Technique used for unwoven fibres: a hot melt adhesive is incorporated to the fibres which are carded, lapped, and thermally set so as to connect reliably the natural fibres to one another whilst keeping their shape and properties. -
Carding
Combing of natural fibres to fluff them up.
